William Keech came to LaRue, Ohio (Marion County) from Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the early 1800s. He was a blacksmith. He died at an early age.
Jane Patton Keech, his wife, (Mary Jane Patton) was the daughter of James and Sarah Dunwoody Patton. She was born in Lebanon County, PA. She and William were married on May 12, 1820 in Dauphin County, PA. She died in Larue, Marion County, Ohio. She and William were first buried in Vesey Cemetery, but because of constant flooding they were moved to Bonner Cemetery.
(Their children were Ann Keech LaRue, David Hayes Keech and Jane Keech Collins.)
