This is a front and back scan of the meal ticket card my father Cpl. Joseph C Crane with the 907th Glider Field Artillery Battalion of the 101st Airborne Division carried on the USS Susan B. Anthony on it's way to the Normandy Landing. The reason he missed this meal is the Ship hit a mine and sank June 7, 1944. My father received his first Purple Hart as one of the 45 wounded of the 2,689 aboard none were killed. For a good history of the USS Susan B. Anthony do a search on Wikipedia.
